18 Feb “Arts and crafts.”

The school year makes it difficult for children to grow things for the Show, because the Show is in the school holidays. So usually we were also on holiday. However, eventually we went to the Show. From then on we entered the children’s arts and crafts and the school’s flowers and vegetables ourselves. Occasionally work was produced that did not match the flower show schedule so we used this to brighten up the marquee.
