An untidy return

I was shocked when I saw how untidy my garden had become, because I’d had the allotment. I’d neglected it. The thugs have taken over – Honeysuckle, Ivy, Golden Rod. But one of the advantages of having an overgrown garden is the wildlife. Nesting birds, insects. The ivy attracts everything, when it flowers. I console myself that my garden is supporting half of the wildlife in Knowsley, because everyone else’s garden is just supporting a car!
