One year, they had a school display in Court Hay Park and one of the caretakers planted the plot in such a way as it looked like a grave! We laughed because the way he thought to plant things was like carpet gardening – they way they used to lay out formal gardens. It was because he’d worked for parks and gardens and that’s what they did!
