I worked at Roby Park School. I tried to get schools involved in growing, but a lot of the schools wouldn’t support the Show during the holiday. It was difficult for them. I stopped working with the schools because I didn’t get a lot of response, but now there are a couple of retired teachers on the Show Committee and they do a great job. They know the schools! There’s a Flower Show prize-giving now at Roby Park Primary, for kids who have participated in the Show.
