30 Dec “Numerous and busy…”

The stalls at the Show were numerous and busy by the time I joined in 2003. However, the Show Committee don’t have anything to do with the commercial side of the stalls, only with the growing and showing marquee and the competition. Sometimes, we differ with the council – for example, the Committee think that the whole Show should be free to enter and park and this is a constant discussion with some quite passionately held views. The Feelgood Festival (a health-focused family fun day in Court Hey Park on the Saturday before the Flower Show) started in 2015 – it’s a great addition to the Show on the Sunday.
