18 Feb “Birds, poultry and strawberries.”

Whiston Gardening Club was formerly held at Stadt Moers Park at Whiston, but is currently housed at Whittakers Garden Centre in Prescot. I’ve been a member of Whiston Gardening Club for approximately 35 years and Secretary for 8 years. My interest began through my Father, who was also a member, whose main interests were birds, poultry and strawberries. Through being a member of the Gardening Club I’m one of 7 members who became the founder members of the Committee for the Knowsley Flower Show, which was an idea in 1998 that developed into the show that it is today.
