18 Feb “Encouraged.”

The first entry I had in the show was a pot plant that I had in the hall. I didn’t think it was good enough. But it won 1st prize! I was very encouraged to enter more. We’re strategic growers. We grow in our back gardens. I’m hoping to grow nice dahlias, so I have a go. We grow succulents. I’ve entered the novice dahlias class. If the orchids are timed right, I’ll put those in. We always enter herbs. You don’t need much effort and can often win a prize. With the children at Roby Park School, we’ve entered the Bizarre Vegetable class. Carrots often hit something on the way down. They’re often interesting!
