18 Feb “What we like about being involved in the Show.”

There’s the planning side and seeing it come together and then the excitement of the event. We’ve started stewarding, that is, going around with the judges at the Show and helping them. It’s an eye-opener. They are so thorough. It’s interesting. They have so much experience and they also know the rules. We also like the atmosphere of the event. It’s exciting. You meet people you know and people you know from the past. Having worked in Knowsley for 40 years, I know a lot of people. While we’ve been on the Show Committee, we’ve tried to simplify the classes and also to give web addresses, so people can look at examples online. We must think the show is good, because we never miss it.
