At the Knowsley Flower Show, they come from all over. It’s very good prize money. You don’t get that at other shows. You get higher rates for certain things. It doesn’t always go down well with local people. A national champion entered a few years ago and it put people off entering. There’s ways round it such as local and open sections, and a section for someone who only grows 100 or 150 plants and an open section, but they’ve not wanted to do that.
