I grew dahlias everywhere

We moved to the north west to Connah’s Quay because I was doing contract work for British Steel and they offered me a permanent job. We moved to Connah’s Quay in June 1969. My wife came from there. I grew dahlias everywhere, in the garden, up the street, in my mother-in-law’s garden. I also had them in Wrexham, growing them in a friend’s nursery.
